The TII-Juvenile is designed for treatment intake assessment. It was derived from the Treatment Intervention Inventory, an adult screening and referral or treatment intake test. The TII was modified for use with juveniles. The TII-Juvenile has 9 scales.

The TII-Juvenile is appropriate for use in schools, HMO’s, EAP programs, community corrections and counseling/treatment program intake. It can also be administered at other important stages of treatment, e.g., intake, quarterly review, counseling/treatment completion and help in understanding program outcome. The TII-Juvenile can be used as a retest instrument at 30-day (minimum) intervals.

The TII-Juvenile can be used in many therapeutic or treatment settings ranging from HMO and EAP programs to counseling and treatment program intake. It is appropriate for boys and girls 14 to 18 years old. It has a 5th to 6th grade reading level.
