Our new site at www.riskandneeds.com offers an interactive version of Risk & Needs Assessment, Inc.’s (Risk & Needs’) website. It presents an alphabetical listing of Risk & Needs tests, a functional grouping of these tests and a sitemap to help focus your test search. It also offers a description of each test along with its example report and test-related research.
To introduce the site, we are offering several incentives. Risk & Needs’ menu or list of tests is set forth. Also, new tests are introduced on this site and can be used for several months -- free. Another incentive involves our 1-test examination kits, which are available on a 30-day cost free basis. And, site visitors can order tests online. Check the site out, and let us know if it meets your expectations. We appreciate your help in making the site as good as it can be.
With the testing (evaluation or assessment) market expanding, evaluators may be frustrated in their search for the "right test," confused by the encroachment of interviews or baffled by the myriad of unstandardized sets of questions. Nevertheless, we encourage you to continue your search.
This site is designed for people serious about testing. It is organized to provide test-related information in a logical, understandable and meaningful manner. Each test’s webpage follows the same outline. Once familiar with a test’s format, comparison to other tests’ webpages should be facilitated.
Good test selection is prudent test selection, and Risk & Needs continues to stress selecting tests by their function or purpose, staying away from unstandardized tests, being aware of inter - interviewer reliability problems in interviews (not professionally recognized tests), and focusing on tests that were designed for your client / offender population.
Scroll Articles are short vignettes that are written in a concise article style. Visitors interested in reviewing the titles of all scroll articles should click on the Scroll Articles link which is presented at the end of each webpage.
