REINSTATEMENT REVIEW INVENTORY-II |
The Reinstatement Review Inventory-II is for screening applicants applying for reinstatement of their drivers’ licenses after they were suspended or revoked. The RRI-II is an automated (computer-scored) assessment instrument or test.
The RRI-II replaced the Road Rage Scale in the RRI with the Stress Coping Abilities Scale. "Stress coping abilities" refers to how well the applicant copes with or handles stress. Stress exacerbates emotional and mental health problems. A Stress Coping Abilities Scale score at the 90th percentile or higher indicates the presence of a diagnosable (DSM-IV) mental health problem, and the applicant might be referred to a certified/licensed mental health professional for an evaluation, diagnosis and written treatment plan.

1. Truthfulness Scale | 4. Comparative Change Scale |
2. Alcohol Scale | 5. Intervention Checklist Scale |
3. Drugs Scale | 6. Stress Coping Abilities Scale |
Each state's driver’s license reinstatement procedure varies. Reinstatement is usually handled in accordance with court procedure. A focal concern in these assessments is "Has the applicant positively changed their attitude, behavior and lifestyle since their driver’s license was suspended or revoked?" The RRI-II explores this important area of inquiry.
If you’re looking for an empirically based "driver’s license reinstatement test," we recommend you consider either the Reinstatement Review Inventory or the Reinstatement Review Inventory-II.
In summary, the RRI has a Road Rage Scale; whereas, the RII-II replaced the Road Rage Scale with the Stress Coping Abilities Scale. To help make a comparison of these two driver's license reinstatement tests easier, a link to each test is provided. If you would like to review the RRI, click on the RRI webpage link.
