Annual Summary Reports Test Specific Research Reports

Website visitors assessment interests vary widely.  Instead of incorporating a summary report for each Risk & Needs test, we included a sample of different reports representative of large and small reports and some of our tests.  Summary reports are provided free to contracting states, departments and high volume testing agencies.

Risk & Needs can access each of its tests built-in databases for statistical analysis and summarization of all tests administered in a state, by a department, agency or high testing volume evaluator. Annual Summary Reports are provided at no cost to the test user.  These reports are provided as a professional courtesy to high volume test users.

Summary reports include demographics, court history when relevant, and test statistics (reliability, validity, and accuracy).  Has anyone offered to summarize your testing program?  Annually? At no additional cost to you?  Minimum testing volume for annual reports is 350 tests.  There is no maximum limit.  Risk and Needs Annual Summary Reports range in size from 350 tests to over 50, 000 tests annually.  Some smaller testing milieus (e.g., drug courts) need Annual Summary Reports, consequently, each situation is considered individually.  And small test volume users can combine their databases for a joint or combined report.

DUI/DWI offender assessment programs are represented with the Florida (N=56,309) and Alabama (N=8,145) summary reports.   Inmate assessment programs are represented by the Ohio (N=9,127) report.  Juvenile offenders are summarized in the Louisiana (N=882) report, and probationers in the Illinois SAQ-Adult probation III (N=1,998) report.  Outcome evaluation is represented in the Missouri (N=749) report.  Some courts utilize several Risk & Needs tests. An example of a multiple test using court  is the Santa Fe Municipal Court (Total N=671).  And the Nebraska Probation Department uses five Risk & Needs tests (statewide) which are summarized in its (N=22,507) annual report.  It should be noted that Annual Summary Reports can be individualized to user needs.

The following Annual Summary Reports links table is provided for reference.  The navigation links to each of these example reports are located on the left side and at the bottom of the table.

TEST SUMMARY REPORTS

Some website visitors have expressed interest in a tests "Summary Report."  At two to three year intervals Risk & Needs completes a database analysis on many of its tests.  In contrast to the Annual Summary Reports presented above, these reports summarize "test specific" database analysis.  Several departments, agencies or test providers test data for a particular test is gathered together and statistically analyzed.  This procedure provides a more comprehensive database pool for analysis.  The following test databases are summarized in this website:  ACDI-Corrections Version II, Defendant Questionnaire (DQ), Domestic Violence Inventory (DVI), Prison Inmate Inventory (PII), SAQ-Adult Probation III and the Sexual Adjustment Inventory (SAI).  Click on the test name that represents the test you are interested in.
